Vice President Of Sales - Logistics



As Vice President of Sales, you'll drive our sales strategy, lead the team, and grow revenue at Freightwise. Your focus: expanding market presence, nurturing customer relationships, and refining sales processes. Your leadership will shape our sales vision and support our business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives and market opportunities.

- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement based on market trends, competition, and customer needs.

Team Management:

- Lead, mentor and manage the sales team through recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

- Cultivate a high-performance culture by setting goals, providing motivation, and offering regular feedback to enhance productivity and engagement.

Sales Performance:

- Establish and track sales targets, KPIs, and metrics to ensure the team meets or exceeds revenue goals.

- Implement and optimize sales processes and tools for increased efficiency and effectiveness in achieving sales objectives.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

- Address and resolve client issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

- Provide valuable input on product development, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to drive sales growth.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare insightful reports and presentations on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives for the executive team.

- Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to facilitate decision-making, identify opportunities for enhancement, and drive continuous improvement.


Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies, processes, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make strategic decisions.
- Experience in Transportation & Logistics industries (preferred).
